joy

When I am filled with cares, Your comfort brings me joy. Psalms 94:19 HCSB

The Holy Spirt comforts us in our sorrow, our anxieties and concerns. He is able to bring joy when we least expect it.

When we are comforted we know we are loved and that we are not alone. Knowing that the Holy Spirit is right here with me, is a comfort, but when He bring joy, unexpectedly,  that is a blessing. He did that for me yesterday. I had done an exam whilst ill and found it very hard. I feared I had failed. I didn't. I received a distinction. I knew He had done this for me, Him in me helping me stay focused and calm, blessing my efforts, was joy.

Joy is from God, it is a result of our relationship with God. Amen!
