wait patiently

Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord. Psalms 27:14 NLT

If you see an impatient, irritable person, you can surmise that waiting patiently for the Lord is not on their radar. Impatience causes us to take matters into our own hands, and also cause us to suffer the consequences.

The  consequences can be disastrous. In an effort to help the Lord with my finances I tried to find paid work,  fortunately after two failed interviews I realised God had other plans. I also advertised for  boarders. This came with consequences. I am now having to orchestrate their exit as they came with unrealistic expectations. I had unrealistic expectations based on former experience. This was also wrong. I am back to being content with the Lord's presence,  and provision.

On the surface what we plan can appear logical, however is it on the right path, and of faith. Am I also honouring my agreements with landlords? Am I choosing to circumvent agreement for the sake of expediency? In my case I have to answer yes to the last. Repentant I am correcting the error.

Always, always there is a better way. Amen!
