Families who have longed for a child knows more the joy of childbirth. The nation of Israel had longed for their saviour for hundreds of years (some thousands). How sad it is when families who long for a son receive another daughter. They fail to shower love and affection on the child born, they miss the significance of what this child might become. Greater is the devastation of parents aborting a child because of its sex. They will never know the joy that child would bring.
Jesus came disguised to His people, because He was raised in Nazareth, He was rejected, because He did not rule as a king, He was rejected. Yet, He achieved the purpose for which He came, He made a way for us to be reunited as family, His heavenly family.
Today , do not reject what you receive, lay down your expectations, God has a better plan! Amen!
