Rights

“But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.”

‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When we belong to a club we have rights to enter and expect service that non-members would not receive. This is the same with the kingdom of God. Though here the rights are phenomenal. As a child of God we can enter His throne room and have a personal conversation with Him. We can ask for His guidance, protection, blessing and more.

Jesus told about the outcomes for both of these. One is welcome in and given a seat at the table, the other is cast out into darkness. I know which I prefer.

A child of God has His ear, whereas a stranger does not, unless they are coming to Him and are asking for forgivenesss and a way into His family. Then our God is all ears.
