no sorrow

For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.

2 Corinthians 7:10 NLT

Today I met with my old friend,  I asked her if she had been reading her bible. She replied,"I've been too busy!"

I replied that giving God 15 minutes first thing in the day will ensure her day goes well. She was not interested. I admonished her that she is still trying to work her day out herself and causing herself grief.  I watching this old lady struggle under a huge load of infirmity,  yet she will not come to Jesus for help. When she does her sorrow in not godly, rather worldly. I fear for her eternity,  it does not look promising. Have mercy Lord!

Today I applied for a position with Wycliffe as a Sociolinguist. Nothing else was available. Amazing that! I pray for the opportunity to bring souls to know Jesus.
