This is an interesting chapter. It is the last word from God for four hundred years, and then John the Baptist come preaching repentance and the coming of Jesus.
Repentance has a way for returning hearts to the ways of faith, the restitution of family relations.
There is coming a great and dreadful day, the day of judgement at the end of time as we know it. Does the promise of returning hearts towards one another give us something to be gleaned? In the current outpouring of the Spirit are hearts being restored? One would hope so, they are being restored to godly truth, which is good.
