Confession

When I read this today I thought, there must be something here I have glossed over in the past and asked the Lord what it was. It was not until I made myself a coffee and sat down to have time with the Lord did I remember. The cup I used to make the coffee in I treasure, it was one I purchased for my mother and one she loved. However, my youngest sister asked for it after my mother’s death, as she also treasured it and I refused. That in itself may not be wrong, as I bought it, but the meanness attached to it is. I have to let it go.

Anything that has meanness attached to it is sin. Meanness is selfishness in action. It is time to deal with meanness in my life that I may be healed. Lord show me the more that I may repent and let things go. Amen!
