“For nothing will be impossible with God.”Luke 1:37 HCSB
Last week embarassed a young worker in the local mobile telephone shop, I could not believe I said what I said, “Can you move your hair out of your eyes so I can see you?” My own eyes had been hurting and trying to concentrate on talking to this girl was hard. I look people in the eyes when I talk. When I went away I asked the Lord for forgiveness and an opportunity to apologise. He gave it to me today. I apologised and we had a good talk, praise God I left clean. I learned that if I ask for an opportunity, He will give it.
Today my old friend called me when I was at the telco store. Her wound was leaking, what should she do? I told her to pray and call the surgeons office. Her wound was a skin graft site. I knew enough, as a former nurse, that clear ooze was ok, it is a problem when it becomes putrid. It was clear. I had the joy of taking her to visit the surgeons nurse and then the chemist for antibiotics. I praise God He is giving me strength as the stress levels are rising with my move and having to care for my friend as well is heavy. I managed to mow my lawn this afternoon after returning home. Energy to spare! Amen!
