Keep on

“Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.”Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Paul is urging the Philippians to remember and practice what they saw him do. In first and second Peter he does also. Peter and Paul were concerned that the saints not be infiltrated by infidels preaching a carnal gospel.

Today, we must be aware of the dangers of carnality also. Modern man lives for self and calls it godliness. However, if we create an idol of our own interpretation of the gospel then we haven fallen into carnality.

Today we must heed the call to godliness and holiness because Jesus said, “you must be holy as your heavenly Father-is holy.” Without holiness we will not see God. We need to digest this fact. Amen!
