Merciful

“God blesses those who are merciful, for they will be shown mercy.”Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We are merciful when we do not give what is deserved, especially in the negative. People’s mannerisms, personalities and characters can annoy us. Who has the problem? The one who is annoyed.

This is an opportunity to show mercy and grace just as our heavenly is merciful and gracious. Our Father’s grace and mercy is beyond our understanding. He is good to the core.

When we are not spending time with the Lord we can become unsanctified and carnal. That is when irritability shows. Jesus said, “abide in Me and I will abide in you”. If we are in Him then we are in His grace and mercy. Amen!
