Keeping safe

“But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love.”
‭‭Jude‬ ‭1‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Today was an eventful day, our sofa is about to arrive. After returning home last night I thought about the sofa we were going to order and wondered if it suited our modern flat. Today, by chance I sat in one the right colour with a simpler design and the bell went ‘clang’. The salesman gave us a good price and this one is longer (we can fit more people on it).

I managed to put a first coat of paint on a glass and wood cabinet we were obliged to retain in the flat as the owner did not want to move it. As I had permission to paint it, that is what I did. We also took delivery of a toaster, the girls did not have one and cooking toast in a frypan is not quite the same.

I also spent a few hours with my translator sorting a few obscure words this morning.

Soup again tonight, so that we can warm up and use the toaster. I like cooking thick, chunky soup, none of the watery stuff for me. After dinner bible study and fellowship again. Praise God! Looking forward to that.
As we walk almost everywhere we visited a plant nursery on the way home, and spied a few plants we intend to beautify the flat with. I am enjoying making our flat our home. Yes! Thank You Jesus!
