I will worship

When my flesh craves attention;

When my emotions are for me,

When my mind is lazy;

I will choose to praise;

I will choose to worship!

I will worship You; 

I will worship you;

You lay down Your life for me;

You gave up Your way for me;

You saved me from my sins,

You are worthy of praise! Amen!

Being in a funk does not mean we do not worship, it means we give a sacrifice of praise. It means we out on worship music and we sing, we meditate on God’s goodness.

“Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor and your wonderful miracles. Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; I will proclaim your greatness. Everyone will share the story of your wonderful goodness; they will sing with joy about your righteousness.”
