I am in Nepal as a missionary and see many gods claiming service and adoration. Last night as I walked to visit friends several shops had insence buring to their gods. Fear drives many to worship. Most mornings I hear a call to prayer between 6:30am and 7:00am. Along my road there is a temple and a house where the caller goes to rouse the locals. Praise God I do not need rousing to pray to my God. As I open my eyes I know it’s time to pray.
Jesus defies all the nations of the world who either refuse Christianity a place, as in communism, Islam, Hinduism, despotism, and the west those who slipping away. I praise God for the awakening that is occurring in my home country Australia.
Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the Father except through Me!” Self effort will not suffice. Expecting God to lower His standard to suit our egos is rude and flawed. There is no other heaven, but there is hell for those who refuse Jesus. These are the only options.
Choose Jesus today and enter a loving relationship with a living God! Amen!
