And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14
Jesus had just been asked when the end will come and He had warned that there would be many false Christ's, there would be earthquakes and famines, wars and rumours of wars but the end would only come when all men had heard the gospel.
Jesus also said that as lawlessness increased so would the love of many grow cold. I am watching this happen. People in their 60-80 are forsaking truth for doctrines of demons. If they, who are the keepers of truth, fail in their duty then I pity the ensuing generations.
'It's all about me' seems to be the catch cry. Children are being raised to be heathens. Does this mean that Jesus will not come back until they are told?
As someone who is nearing her 60's I am mindful that I must stay close to truth and not wander away. My grandchildren need to see truth and know that it is still respected, alive and well. I cannot feast on movies that promote a gospel of 'the universe', multiple partners, greed and 'feel goodism'.
As I am on holidays I must stay in the word but also stay in relationship with the One who keeps me centred and whole.
