The days of Noah

For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them away, so will be the coming of the son of Man. Matthew 24:38,39

Noah's community saw him, for over 100 years, building a strange ark, inland, well away from water. Where is Noah now? Who is Noah?

Noah and his family were deemed righteousness, righteousness enough for God to choose them, and them alone, to be the new beginning, to care for all His animals.

What sort of person was Noah? Obedient? Faithful? A God seeker? Diligent? Are you a Noah in your world? Is your behaviour different or the same?

What sort of structure are you building? Is it a place of safety and food for the hungry and dependant? Will it stay afloat when the storm comes?

Will you be ready and will you take others with you when He comes?

As I look back on last year, a year of devastation, I know that yes He can be found in these times but they are not an indication as to His return. He is coming when we least expect! Are you ready?
