It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to investigate a matter. Proverbs 25:2
Ephesians tells me : This grace was given to me- the least of the saints-to proclaim to the Gentiles the incalculable riches of the Messiah, and to shed light for all about the administration of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things. This is so God's multi-faceted wisdom may be known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavens. This is according to His eternal purpose accomplished in the Messiah Jesus our Lord. 3:11
Dare I say we are made for greater stuff? We are His emissaries here on earth and our job is to display the greatness of our God. As we walk in victory we shine like the sun (Son).
Dare I believe I am great in His hand? If I could, what could I accomplish in Him? What great works has He for me to do?
Have I underestimated what God has actually given me? Is there much more hidden in this life that is intended for His glory?
What could be accomplished by a people who dared to believe that their God saw them as great? What amazing things could they show about their God?
Jesus came to this earth as a man and he started out as a child who had to learn what greatness was in Him. A child believes he can fly (A least I have 4 grandsons who wear their super hero outfits which to them make them great). We are clothed with His righteousness, His glory is within us.
Jesus said: "greater things will you do." We could say, "How can this be?" Yet if we dare to believe and step out we just might do it.
Just because we can't see the great things does not mean that when our God looks at us that He does not see them, He sees us through Christ and we are clothed with His greatness. How cool?
What would you do if you believed?
This isn't about you, this is so His wisdom will be declared in the heavens, there are lessons to be learned and principals and powers in the heavenlies need to know what God can do with a people who's trust is in Him.
