Sheep and Goats

When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will gather all the nations, and he will separate people from one another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.'
Then the righteous will answer him saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you a drink? and when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.' Matthew 25:31-40

Interesting all the sheep and goats know the King. They all had the same opportunity but made different choices.

I have experienced hardness from people and extreme generosity from others. Those who have been extremely generous can suffer for their generosity yet there is a reward waiting them. While those who are mean spirited seem to prosper and their hardness defies the Lord but their day is coming.

I have a brother who is struggling now yet he has been very generous to me and to others in the family. I will do what I can but I know there is One who watches all and I have spoken to Him on my brother's behalf. 'Lord, Your word says, what you sow you reap. This brother has been treated badly by others but has been generous himself, I ask for his reward.'

I stayed on in Sydney to work out a solution and pray. Yesterday my brother came home with good news. He has a friend in high places who is going to represent him in his business endeavours. My brother has created a brilliant system that the government would be interested in. This man is connected highly and is already working for my brother.

As I leave today I will continue to pray and look to the King for His reward. He is good, He is good, He is good. Amen!
