Judging Wrongly

The Pharisees and some of the scribes who had come from Jerusalem gathered around Him. They observed that some of His disciples were eating their bread with unclean-that is, unwashed-hands. Mark 7:1,2

Of all the things Jesus did, the miracles and healings were ignored because what had become precious to them was their rituals.

God is moving in our worlds again, will we ignore His greatness because it does not come packaged the way we want?

Today I visited a local baptist church and was pleasantly surprised, they worshipped just fine (coming from a pentecostal that is a compliment). However, I know they are studying worship at present and their pastor is taking them to a greater connection with the Lord and using worship as the tool.

How sad it would be if members of the congregation circled the 'tool' and judged it rather than opening up their hearts to the goal. How sad indeed would be the Lord who longs to be found.

I am praying that the Lord pours out His best on this church and sets captives free. Even church goers can be captives, as were the Pharisees.
