Where is Wisdom?

I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence; I possess knowledge and discretion.
To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.
Counsel and sound judgement are mine; I have understanding and power. Proverbs 8:12-14

The Christian values wisdom, it is found in the Holy Spirit. As He abides in us we have His wisdom dwelling within. We can go to Him for He is our counsellor.

Imagine if I owned Scrooge McDuck's bank vault and when I needed money went to borrow elsewhere. How stupid would that be? Well why would I seek wisdom from anyone but the Holy Spirit? His awesome presence dwells within. The word of God confirms wisdom.

Wisdom is found in Godly people and I can trust them but moreso I can trust the Word of God.

There is so much written by those who profess wisdom but they are mere mortals just like me. If what they say is not in agreeance with the word of God then I am a fool listening to a fool.

Don't get me wrong, I do read biographies about 'great people' but unless their principles are Godly, I do not take them on board.

Solomon wrote the book of Proverbs thousands of years ago and they have been deemed to be scripture and they line up with principles in the word of God so I can read and learn from them.

There is so much foolishness available in the world today. Foolish people give divinity to the universe, the created. This makes me angry because I know the One who created the Universe and He is still GOD! Amen!
