Eternal Death

For when you were slaves of sin, you were free from allegiance to righteousness. So what fruit was produced then from the things you are now ashamed of? For the end of those things is death. But now, since you have been liberated from sin and have become enslaved to God, you have your fruit, which results in sanctification — and the end is eternal life! For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:20‭-‬23 HCSB

We have a stark reality: abundant life or death; righteousness or lawlessbess; sanctification or condemnation. There is bo 'in between'; 'just good enough'; 'just scraping by.' There is etsrbal Life or eterbal death. Eternity goes on way beyond today. I am an eternal being. My spirit lives forever. The choice I make here and now about Christ determines where I will be as eternity is built on relationship: who dis I run with here?; who did I serve? I may think I serve myself but in so doing I have walked without Christ for to know Him is to serve Him, not self. I may like to think of myself as a God but I am an idol made of clay, I may have gold paint applied but I am still made of clay.

When I stand before the Father His one question will be: what did you do with My Son I have you? That is the only criteria. My own goodness or failure will not be in question but rather what did I do with Jesus?

You may have flung off righteousness as too soft but what are you left with? Eternal death held captive by your deceived who stole your life, in eternal fire. Not a good outcome! Choose wisely! Amen!
