The Way

“Lord,” Thomas said, “we don’t know where You’re going. How can we know the way? ” Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:5‭-‬6 HCSB

Although modern man claims there are many ways to God, Jesus, here, refutes this idea.
Jesus has been telling His disciples He is going away and that they will follow, poor Thomas is anxiously saying: "But we don't know where you are going!" Perhaps Thomas was the kind of person who visualizes the trip ahead before he sets off.

When Faith is involved we must trust. God does not always show us the path before hand.

When Jesus had died and come back to visit the disciples Thomas was missing. He refused to believe unless he touched the wounds of Jesus. Thomas would be a 'seeing is believing' kind of guy.

Again I say: 'faith is required!' We cannot have everything as we want. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Amen!
