He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” Revelation 21:4 NLT
Heaven has no cause for sorrow as sickness and disease are gone, our enemy the devil who taunts us here is not present, in fact he is locked up forever in a fiery pit.
It is hard to imagine such bliss and peace, yet, Jesus has promised it as so. Imagine a peaceful mind, no evil thoughts, no temptation to do wrong, no lust or greed.
Those who have suffered and been brutalised by evil men and women will finally have rest and healing.
Heaven is full of Jesus, our Lord and saviour, The Father, The Holy Spirit and all the angelic hosts. It will also be filled with a whole lot of people we do not know. So, if you are not into new friends, it might be hard. However, if you are into making new friends, you will be at home.
I am looking forward to meeting all the saints of old. I wonder if Abraham is across modern technology? I wonder if it exists in heaven? We might be in for a shock- no more smart phones! There's a thought!
