suffering

I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!

Philippians 3:10‭-‬11 NLT

While not many go looking for suffering,  it comes to all of us one way or another. We can suffer persecution, rejection, disease, famine, poverty, wrongful imprisonment.  However, in each and every set of circumstances God is looking to show His glory. His glory is revealed in us as we suffer righteously. The world must see God's glory as it is that which attracts them.

History is replete with saints who faced death gloriously. My prayer is that we would have such strength. I want to face my Lord and know I have been faithful. He is my reward, not man. Resurrection from the dead is to be aspired to. Amen!
