Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.

Today in Australia we awoke to hear the news that our Queen Elizabeth had passed away. She was a woman of discretion. She never offended, and always carried herself as a woman of integrity. I am grateful to have been one of her subjects.

The Queen was quick to listen and slow to speak. She had been trained this way from her youth. If only we all had been trained thus. As Christians we are royal subjects, and need to behave as though we are.

This morning as I was praying the enemy was harassing me with thoughts of offence. Fortunately I refused and the source of offence had been removed. 

At times we will be hammered with thoughts of offence, condemnation or criticism. These are common. At these times we need to be vigilant. Amen!
