evil people and grace

See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people.

Doing good to bad people can be difficult especially when they are outright evil. However, Paul was imprisoned in Rome under Nero. Now there was a nasty dude. However, he wrote in Romans to be subject to the governing authorities and to pray for them.

I struggle to pray for paedophiles. Yet, Newton (the man who wrote Amazing Grace) was a slave trader and he came to Christ. Anything is possible. Amen!
