worship with gladness

Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Psalms 100:2 NLT

This whole song is an exhortation to worship God and praise Him for all He is and does. He is good and worthy of all praise.

Last night at astronomy I met a man who mocked Moses existence. I did not argue but moved on. He was insisting on there being written evidence for spoken stories. I was trying to tell him that it is not always so. Some cultures keep their stories alive by telling the stories. In my case it was the biblical stories.

We know that the bible exhorts us to remind our children and grandchildren of God's goodness by the telling of stories or testimonies. Our stories of how God delivered us from addictions, disasters, financial ruin, disease all speak volumes about God's reality and goodness.

For all of these things we can praise Him, for He is faithful.  Amen!
