““But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” Isaiah 43:18-19 NLT
What does the first line refer to? It refers to what came before, what God did in the past to the enemy of Israel, as in Egypt . If the walking through the Red Sea was nothing compared to what God was about to do, then it was to be amazing. The most amazing things God did for His people was send Jesus, His own Son to earth as His representative and deliverer.
The most spectacular thing He did for us Gentiles was send Jesus and the constant deliverance He brings us through.
Today we can trust Him for complete freedom. Amen!
