This life is not just about us. We may all be consumed with us, but we are called to a different life, being consumed with Jesus and His agenda.
Today, what can I do to make a difference? Who can I reach out to? Who can I serve?
This year I go to Nepal to make a difference. I know one Nepali who is very grateful. An orphan is about to have his own home and a family to live with him. He is excited. There are many who we will help and bless. Who will become an evangelist just because we came and showed them the way? Who will study medicine, law, politics because we give them English? How many lives will change because we give them opportunities to earn a living? More importantly, how many more will populate heaven because we were obedient and went.
I am grateful for this opportunity to go. I am grateful for God’s goodness and favour. May His kingdom come, His will be done! Amen
