“The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.”1 Corinthians 10:13 NLT
Temptation does not have to be an enticement to do something illegal, to indulge a bad habit, or to fly into a rage about a perceived offence. Temptation can be to doubt God’s goodness and faithfulness, His word or character.
Today I must face the temptation with truth. What does the word of God say about this? What is God’s promise to me, and there make a stand.
God is good and His promises endure! He is faithful to fulfill all He has promised to fulfill. Amen!
