faithful with money

If you are faithful in little things, your will be faithful in big things, but if you are dishonest in little things how can you be trusted with greater responsibility. Luke 16:10

I have always taken this scripture to mean money. I would be right to think so as the whole chapter deals with money. It is s good read.

What does this scripture mean to us? If we withold our tithe, or pay less than we know is right, we are being unfaithful. If we want to be used with large amounts of money then we need to look at this area. If we are already scrimping on payments to people or not paying them at all, this also applies.

We must clean up our own backyard before we will be allowed in another man's front yard. Amen!
