“Love does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.”
Our God loves truth, because He si truth. If we are His then we also have a love for truth. For Jesus said the world hates Him because they love deeds of darkness (Jn 3:19). We are children of the light and should, therefore, love the light. Injustice is opposed to truth.
Our challenge as children of God is to continue to love the truth, to stay faithful to the truth and remain in the truth, untainted by the world. We must remind ourselves that we are not the source of truth, the word of God is. An attribute of worldliness is to determine in our own hearts what is truth. If we go here we are in trouble. The word of God is the only truth. The Catholic Church may determine that they have a handle on truth but this is dangerous, because doctrines of men tend to bind the people in law, whereas the word of God sets captives free with truth.
Remember the truth sets captives free! Amen!
