“When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place— what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?”Psalms 8:3-4 NLT
This Psalm was written thousands of years ago. The night sky then was probably the same as it is now. It has outlived all of mankind to date and will continue to do so until the curtain falls. It will definitely fall, the Book of Revelation tells us how it will end. We also know how the earth will end.
All our best efforts will not stop the sky from falling, it will do the bidding of its creator. No amount of cleverness on man’s part will stop it, we are not powerful enough.
Us mere mortals, nonetheless, are loved by our creator who desires our fellowship. What a thought! He allows us to discover all He has created and marvel at His brilliance. How amazing is He. I learned today that Earth, the Moon and our Sun are the only ones that have solar eclipses. I found that amazing. Arranged just for us!
We are blessed! We are loved by our Father God!
