Remain

“Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.”John‬ ‭15‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Jesus told us to remain, stay put, don’t move! What would make us move? Fear or foolishness. Fear can make a person run from a safe place into an open place where danger awaits. If we are in a safe place we should stay there because our enemy the devil roams about seeking someone to devour. Foolishness is caught up in egotistical pride. When we begin to think we are untouchable, we have already been caught in Satan’s net of pride and are being dragged into his den.

Therefore, trust Jesus and stay put! Do not move! Amen!
