“The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.”Proverbs 18:21 NLT
Failure to speak or communicate can also kill a relationship. Speaking can bring both death or life.
Jesus spoke words of life to the sick and even the dead. He raised the widow’s son and Lazarus from the dead; He challenged Peter to walk on the water with the word, “Come!” He commanded healing with the words, “Be healed, your sins are forgiven!” He taught the ways of the kingdom of God. He also sealed His fate with His rebuke to the Pharisees, “You white washed tombs!”
We are also able to use our words to create and bring healing or destroy and bring about the death of a relationship or an enterprise. We must be wise with our words. Amen!
