Why guard our heart above all else? Why not our children? Our homes? Our friends?
Our heart is the seat of our emotions. Paul tells us to be renewed in our minds for the very reason that if we don’t, we risk our hearts becoming infected with evil and destructive thought about ourselves, others and Him. If we are careless we become numb.
We are in a war folks! I watch the war in Ukraine as I have been committed to pray for the people of Ukraine. What Putin is doing is evil. He represents what our enemy the Devil wants to do to us. Everywhere Putin wins ground he is unloving and merciless to the people, he treated them as pawns, much as he does his own people. He does not care for people he wants territory. Satan wants territory. He will deceive, abuse, crush, kill , and destroy to get that territory.
The Lord is pouring out His Spirit all over the world right now. Satan is beside himself. We need to be particularly vigilant right now and he is wild and throwing people and things around recklessly.
Our government is bringing out so many destructive laws at present, every week it becomes worse. Any foothold Satan has he uses to destroy. He wants to crush our children, he is after them and we must fight for them.
I am enjoying all God has right now but I cannot lock myself away, and ignore the world. I write petitions weekly, vote weekly to choose life not death. I talk, weekly, to those God has given me, to bring life. We must be alert and active. Guard your hearts! Amen!
