Today I enjoyed being back at my church. I enjoy the Lord's presence and His word. Ps Darren was back preaching again after almost 9 months, due to being wrongly accused of indecent assault. He was cleared in court on 9th June.
The church rallied around him, but he was made to not function as he had for so long. We are enjoying having him back on deck again.
After church I talked to a woman who works in a jewellery store. She had many fine gems on her person. I was not jealous as it has been almost 20 years since I gave all mine away and now wear a ring my daughter gave me, a silver locket with family photos inside and an assortment of valueless stud earrings, and I am content.
I do not need gems where I am going. I do not need to Invite thieves. Heaven is my greatest treasure. Amen!
