“For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.”
Colossians 1:13-14 NLT
Only this week a lost Australian seaman was rescued in the pacific after encountering difficulties and surviving three months at sea, just he and his dog. He looked wild and wooly when found but managed to survive on raw fish and rainwater. He was a very grateful man.
Many of us who now know Jesus as our saviour have been rescued from various disasterous lives, for which we are grateful. Unfortunately, some forget the miracle of new birth and become, again, hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. The common ones, offence, bitterness, unforgiveness, take us out just as effectively as hard core problems that result in jail time.
Today take time to be grateful! Gratefulness keeps us soft and loving. Choose life that you might live! Amen!
A funny to finish with: my dog and I went up our hill today and my dog was barking continuously, I looked around and he was having a face -off with a little bird called a Willy-Wagtail. Willy must have babies in the nest as he was on guard and my dog was the enemy.
Unfortunately the video will not load.
