We can say the right things, make all the right noises but live in fear when Satan roars. What we do in that time is determined by what we believe. Satan is roaring at present and I must take him out with the word of God: if God be for me who can be against me? (Romans 8:31). My Heavenly Father is for me; Jesus my Saviour is for me and the Holy Spirit who lives inside me is for me. Three to one, I’d say that was a majority.
Tonight I had the young man, who is buying my car, call and try to beat me down a thousand dollars. He told me his family called tonight and asked for money and now he does not have the full amount. However, when I did not budge he asked if I would say the car was less than he is buying it for on the official form that goes to the government and I said “that is illegal”. He agreed to pay me the full amount tomorrow night, and apologised for asking me to do something illegal. I feel for him, but know the money is needed to stay in Nepal. He did not have to buy the car.
When he called I feared that he would withdraw, however, I spoke to myself and told myself ‘God has got this!’
Today I also called my Travel Insurer and asked the cost of a full three months cover, it was way too expensive. I surfed the net and found one half the price but also highly recommended. Tomorrow I will switch providers.
Believing is integral in our walk with Christ. I must put faith into action, daily, moment by moment! Amen!
