Today I had another trial: I heard my dog was suffering and I needed to release more of my possessions, some that I had particularly enjoyed. I also had to die to offence and become a servant. A challenging day, however, I survived, intact.
This period of leaving and cleaving to the Lord is not easy. The funny thing is my memories are all I have just now. I must step into the unknown and trust that it will indeed be better. The Lord tends to take me from good to best, so I must trust Him for that.
Faith is stepping into the unknown and trusting our God for His best purposes. Here I go! Amen!
