“Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone cheerful? He should sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? He should call for the elders of the church, and they should pray over him after anointing him with olive oil in the name of the Lord.”

Prayer and praise are the antidote for fear, song of praise James tells us are a good way of saying thank you to the Lord in times of joy. Having others to pray for us when we are ill is a comfort. Right now as I pack and clean solo it is a comfort to know friends are praying for me.
Prayer chains are a good tool for praying for folk who are sick or in trouble. Being committed to personal prayer is good for each of us, the Lord can then depend on us for covering His kingdom in prayer.
Prayer can change a nation and bring revival, turn off the TV and pray! Amen!
