Today I had my first outing since arriving in Nepal. It was good to go to familiar places and some new ones. My friend Uma collected me on her scooter and took me to lunch at a lovely Christian coffee shop where we caught up and had a tasty meal. I had brought her an Aussie bible and some tea which she had asked for. Afterwards she took me to a coffee house where I bought some lovely coffee beans, had them ground and then went in search of a plunger and a knife for the kitchen.

Uma has offered to talk to her colleagues regarding me doing some voluntary work with them twice a week. She also offered to find me cheaper accomodation as where I am staying is expensive. I told her that soon I will have my own flat, praise God!

So, already I have two groups wanting my services and probably a third, UVN. 

I had befriended Uma way back in 2016 when I first came to Nepal. Since then we have stayed in contact. She is a young wife and mother but a very educated woman. Most of all she loves Jesus! Praise God!

God is indeed working all things out for His good! Amen!
