If we listen to the voices in our heads, instead of mercy we will dish out judgement, rejection and injustice. However, if we listen to God’s word we will be merciful. If we sow mercy we receive mercy.
Everybody needs mercy, Jesus knew that. He came to a broken world filled with sin and selfish pride, walked among us and spoke about His Father. Prior to Jesus there was Yahweh. After Jesus we knew that there was God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.
Jesus presented mercy. He was nailed to a cross for our sin, not His own. He was perfect in every way. He not only gave His life for us, He rose in victory three days later. We can walk in His forgiveness and new life as we receive Him as the price for our sin.
Today receive mercy and live in this mercy. Amen!
