Set free

“I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.”Psalms‬ ‭34‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

My constant challenge is facing the voice of opposition: “you made the wrong choice coming to Nepal; where is God in this, it is all your own arrogance; you should have waited; this was not clever!” On and on it goes! It is only a reiteration of the first recorded line in history: “has God said?” Satan’s tactics have not changed.

Yesterday was a good surprise. Going to a different church I encountered people from Worcester England. It was a pleasant exchange. However, retuning to my very basic digs and another cold shower was not pleasant. Praise God the weather is still warm and that my friend Warren brought me a large water bottle, I have around 20 litres of fresh water to drink.  I have my mobile and podcasts, UTube and social media. Best of all I can listen to biblical messages and be built up in my faith.

Today I will spend time with Timothy and discern the way forward. God has a plan for me, I must be willing to seek it. Whilst receiving messages from home are nice they draw me back to what was. May Your kingdom come Lord! Your will be done! Amen!
