Christ’s attitude

“You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.”Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

What attitude did Jesus have? “Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.”Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Jesus was equal with God. He did not just think He had it or was grasping for it, ahe had it. Yet, He emptied himself of His rights, became a slave and was nailed to a cross for us. He did not have to do it. However, He knew that it was all it would take to redeem all manikind.

During the days when His body was in a tomb He was preaching to all those who perished in Noah’s flood. He was giving them another opportunity to choose righteousness. Why? Because He loved them also and the flood came suddenly.

What manner of man is He? He is God and represents the godly way. Amen!
