“Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.”Matthew 4:23 NLT
Jesus did not think or say any disease was greater than another. They all were an invasion of Satan. Many were caused by demons, which He promptly cast out.
What did He say to those who asked? He said “yes! I will!” He turned noone away. He tested some severely. If we look at the gentile woman who came for healing of her demonised daughter, He said, “it is not right to give the children’s bread to dogs”, but she replied, “yes Lord but even the little dogs can eat the crumbs that fall on the floor”(Matt 15:24-28). How many of us would turn away in offence? I hazard to guess many would. Yet, she persisted and received what she desired. He in fact admired her faith.
Faith received what it came for. Yet, even those who lacked faith He aided. The father who also had a demonised son asked for help with his unbelief. His honesty was rewarded with a miracle ( Mark 9:17-27).
Whatever our circumstances Jesus desires to heal us, if we are honest with Him. Yes, there are times when we are not healed, in those times we must trust Him for His plan. I am sure the man who had Jesus use spittle to heal him was not fussy as to how he was healed. Why did Jesus do that? He gave no explanation (Mark 8:22-26), (John 9:6-7).
Trust Him! Amen!
