God comes to me each morning revealing my heart. I can tell when worldliness taints it and repent. It is amazing the things that taint it: money, movies, worldly conversation. I sense my heart has an unclean glee, lusting for more. As I recognise this state and repent I cleanse my heart.
We are told to guard our hearts, repentance is the way to keep it clean, however, being watchful can prevent it from being dirty in the first place.
As God comes to me fresh each morning, He is without sin. Purity fills Him. Because purity comes to me I can recognise darkness within. I am so grateful He is the first to comes. I am grateful He is without sin. Praise Him! Amen!
