“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”Psalms 147:3 HCSB
There is a need to read the whole psalm, otherwise we assume this verse is for us Gentiles. It isn’t in isolation. It speaks of Jerusalem. Whilst we Gentiles can claim the promise, we are grated into the olive branch which is Israel.
It is good to read Romans 11 also. It talks about this aspect of us being grafted in ( verse 17). The Christian church is not the only group that carries God’s favour, Israel was always His and always will be.
Israel needs us to pray for them in this war and also in this time that they may discover their Messiah.
God has a plan! Let’s be a part of it! Amen!
