He prepared

“That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Today, after my lesson, we went shopping for sheets, and a doona for me. We also planned to look for mattresses. The place we went to for sheets was crowded and noisy. A lady was trying to tell me what sheets suited my bed and a loud man came in with four women all talking. My ears were playing up, probably due to the dairy I had eaten. I was becoming agitated. Help Lord! The woman finally came and helped me when I explained I had a hearing problem. We were sorted quickly and left the noise behind. Next, the woman who took us to this area of a Kathmandu thought the same people sold mattresses, wrong. We headed off into the crowd and noise looking for shops that sold mattresses. We found two. The first was no good and the second only took one of the women serving to give me the most gracious smile and I liked the shop. We found mattresses, better than previous and then headed home to cook lunch.

I sat down with my calculator and worked the numbers, we would have enough. The Lord had whispered to my heart, buy a good mattress. My future flat mate will check out more shops tomorrow after church and call me.

I am now on my bed snuggled under my doona and very grateful. Thank You Lord! Amen!
