Let go of the past

““Do not remember the past events, pay no attention to things of old. Look, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.”Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

The past can include yesterday. If we want to step into this promise of a new thing we must do it by faith. Perhaps there was good in the past, how do we step into a ‘new thing’ with God? Allow Him to reveal even better in the new. Trust Him!

I leave Brisbane today. I leave loving children and grandchildren to go the next leg of my journey towards Nepal. Nepal may not be all of my future, God only knows that. However, I don’t believe Australia is my future. I must be prepared to go where He leads.

The new in Christ is more of Him, a better version of Him in my life. More is coming. May I not reject it because it does not look like what I expect or imagine. Amen!
