“Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.”Romans 12:9-10 NLT
I have two people who I must deal with daily who love to talk and take centre stage. Loving the person and not the problem is a challenge. What ai find myself doing is avoiding both. How do I show I love them?
I think that truthful encounters might be a good start. Loving a person is not allowing them to dominate, perhaps it is confrontation, lovingly done, perhaps it is finding God’s purpose. Why are these people in my life? What does He want me to do for them?
Genuine love does not avoid it encounters with purpose. What new results will I find? Avoidance is not the answer. Amen!
